Leaving a legacy of home-cooked comfort.

Herminia's Food began in a home kitchen, cooked with care for people the family loves. What started as a micro-business was grown by Herminia "Minnie" Mateo into something built to last. Today her spirit still anchors the brand, and every gathering carries that promise forward.

Now a full catering business based in Quezon City, we prepare honest home-style dishes in batches and present them with attention to detail. Every set menu, tray, and service is crafted through decades of experience, for gatherings big and small. Bookings include the food, complete buffet set-up, service staff, and clean chinaware, so you can enjoy your own event.

How it works

Booking made simple.

From your first message to event day, there are four easy steps.

  1. Send your date & headcount

    Use the inquiry form, or call / Viber us with your event date, venue and estimated guests.

  2. Get your menu & quote

    We reply within 24 hours with a package suggestion, sample menu and per-head quote for your occasion.

  3. Reserve your date

    A reservation fee secures your date (commonly 50% down, with the balance due before the event; final terms are confirmed with your quote).

  4. We handle event day

    Buffet set-up, service staff and clean-up are included. You host, and we take care of the rest.

Minimum guest count?
Around 50 pax for buffet packages (sample, to be confirmed); party trays available for smaller groups.
How far ahead should I book?
2–4 weeks for most dates; earlier for December and peak wedding months (sample, to be confirmed).
Where do you cater?
All of Metro Manila from our Quezon City base; nearby out-of-town by arrangement with a travel fee (to be confirmed).
Can we do a food tasting?
Tasting policy is confirmed with your quote (to be confirmed with the owner).
